I just completed my freshman year at Groton, where I was a three-sport athlete playing JV soccer, Varsity hockey and Varsity lacrosse. During the lacrosse season our starting D1 committed faceoff man was injured and I was given the opportunity to feel what it is like to play and succeed under high pressure and expectations. After the season I was voted most improved player by my teammates. Outside of playing lacrosse and hockey seriously, I play the violin and participate in the visual arts at Groton. Academically I hold myself to standards just as high as I do athletically. I had a 93 average this year and will be taking two AP courses my sophomore year. Looking to college, I want to major in something surround comparative religion, philosophy or ethics.
