Taking face-offs is a speciality position that often leaves a child alone. At Faceoff Factory we strive to be a community for the development of your child in his specialty position. We want to help you take your child to the next level in his craft. Therefore we have created PARENT TRACK simultaneously while the boys are in sessions at the overnight camp. This add-on to the camp includes your meals, snacks, and drinks while in session or while watching your son. Sessions and meals will be held at Towson University. There will still be lots of opportunities to watch your son in the team event, and individual events at the end of each day. Lodging is not included, and therefore you’ll get to book your favorite hotel chain.
The parent track will include your very own swag bag by FOF and our sponsors, meals, snacks & drinks, access to your parent liaison, sessions that support your son as a Face-Off Specialist, college recruiting process & timelines, professional photos of your son at the event, photo with your son & his favorite coach, and special coupon discounts for FOF sessions, future events, and our partner discounts.
Sessions will cover topics such as breaking down the Face-Off so you can better communicate with your son, how to help your son grow in his stage of life up to the college recruiting process & timeline, establishing/updating your connectlax.com account, and how best to capture & edit videos for your son’s recruiting portal.
Day 1 will be the bulk of the information in your sessions, and Day 2 will be spent using that information and putting it into action with workshops creating practice videos for your son’s profile.
The parent track will be led by the Faceoff Factory Staff and Shelly Au who just helped his daughter get recruited to a D1 University in the Big East Conference even though she just started lacrosse as a freshman in high school. Shelly is a full-time professional photographer and will reveal his methods in helping his daughter get noticed and recruited.
