ROWAN GADA

FACEOFF FACTORY UNCOMMITTED ATHLETE

ROWAN GADA

My name is Rowan Gada. I am a 2025 from Waterford CT, and I am a face-off specialist. I currently play for Waterford High School and Team CT Lacrosse. As a sophomore, I started on the varsity lacrosse team for Waterford High School, and finished my high school season last year with a 52% faceoff win percentage, with 1 goal and 2 assists. For my club season last year I finished with an 86% faceoff win percentage. I am a very hard worker. I diligently put the time in to advance my skills and my abilities as a lacrosse player and athlete, and I take lacrosse and academics very seriously. In addition to my own continual year round training on the field and in the gym, I have consistently trained for the past two and a half years at Face Off Factory Connecticut with coaches Noah Rak and Max Adler, as well as in Rhode Island with face off specialist Jacob Alexander from Bryant University. Currently, I am working very hard daily to achieve my goal of being selected by Team CT Lacrosse for their AAA team that will be playing at elite, national tournaments, such as the National Lacrosse Federation Championships in July 2024. My strengths as a face off midfielder are: I have a very fast clamp and hand speed with high physicality and a great offensive and defensive skill set, and I like to stay on after the clamp. If I lose the clamp, I have a quick counter to win it back and will do anything I can to gain possession. I am also very well rounded. I played hockey for ten years, I skateboarded at a competitive level for nine years, and I also raced bmx. I played basketball at the high school level for two years. I have also volunteered assisting athletes in the Special Olympics as well as in youth hockey and lacrosse. I enjoy playing basketball, and photography. I am interested in majoring in sports management, education, or psychology in college. I am a very driven and ambitious athlete who is dedicated to his team. I am also very positive and coachable. My goal is to play lacrosse at the collegiate level, and I am determined to do whatever it takes to be the best. I am also playing at the following tournaments/showcases: The Mid Fall Classic Tournament at University of Massachusetts, Amherst on 11/5/23 with Team CT Lacrosse, the Primetime Showcase in Smithfield, Rhode Island on 11/18, the Primetime Showdown Tournament in Smithfield, Rhode Island on 11/19 with Team CT Lacrosse, and the D3 Showcase on 1/15/24 in Randolph, New Jersey. I would greatly appreciate it if you could include me in your list of players to watch. Please let me know if there are any other additional outlets to stay connected with your program and opportunities to learn more about continuing my studies and playing lacrosse at your school. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
